Trump announces his third run for presidency (includes video story)

Former President Donald Trump announced another bid for the presidency last night at his Mar-A-Lago Estate. The twice-impeached former president is aiming to be the second Commander-in-Chief ever elected to two non-consecutive terms.

In his speech, he said, “Two years ago we were a great nation, and soon we will be a great nation again.”

Trump is expected to face a crowded Republican field that could include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his former running mate, former Vice President Mike Pence.

Meanwhile President Biden – who has yet to announce whether he will seek re-election – reacted to the announcement via a tweet reading, “Donald Trump failed America.”
