South Florida gets a new southern-comfort style food truck (includes video story)

A Southern-style food truck has made its way to South Florida. Miami Kitchen Kreation is located on 184th St. and 109th Ave.

Since opening in late February, the business has been enforcing safety guidelines and offering contactless payment options.

Thirty-four-year-old Shameka Blount Jones, who is also a federal correctional officer, is a co-founder of Miami Kitchen Kreation.

“During the shutdown, I was not given the opportunity to have income,” said Jones. “But I still had to go to work, so I never wanted that opportunity to come again.”

Miami Kitchen Kreation is open every week from Friday to Sunday.
