SFMN Explainers: Florida Prepaid tuition

Some families who use the Florida Prepaid tuition program can expect money back this year. The rates are the lowest in five years, with its one-year Florida University plan starting at $44 dollars a month.

About 224,000 families that enrolled in a plan in 2008 and later can expect either a refund check or payment deferments from Florida Prepaid. Learn more about the $511 million initiative in this explainer video.

Open enrollment for Florida Prepaid started at the beginning of the month and will continue until April 30. For more information on the refund or Florida Prepaid, visit myfloridaprepaid.com.
