Pumpkin and Palm Trees attracts small businesses and families (includes video story)

The Pumpkins and Palm Trees event took place in Fort Lauderdale, where there was a pie competition, vendors, a trick-or-treat trail, family-friendly activities and live music.

The pie competition winner was awarded $200 for cottage-food operations.

Vendors had the opportunity to sell food and other items as well. There was also a paint-your-own-pumpkin station and a photo booth where families were welcome to take pictures. The trick-or-treat trail had people in every corner singing songs from popular musicals as the children grabbed their candy.
