Police release video of Minnesota man’s police. encounter (includes video story)

Body camera footage of a police chase from this past July in Minnesota that ended with the death of 26-year-old Khalil Azad was recently released.

It shows that Azad started speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road in the Minneapolis suburb of Robbinsdale with two passengers including his brother in a white SUV.

The passengers describe feeling “shaken up” and police respond, “Oh hell yeah, that guy’s driving like an idiot.”

Azad runs off before police can catch him and they find drugs in the car.

Days later Azad’s body was found in a lake. His death was ruled an accidental suicide. Azad is Black Suspicions began to arise.

Protests broke out as friends and family claimed tp have reason to believe Azad was actually beaten by police and attacked by K9’s.
