Young voters and college students around South Florida crowded the MTV-transformed gym at Miami Dade College in Kendall after polls closed for the midterm election Tuesday night.
The free event kicked off at 7 p.m., and was hosted by Liza Koshy. The event also featured musical performances from Fat Joe, Ashanti and Lauren Jauregui.
Reporter Jay Valle spoke to the founders of March For Our Lives, YouTube personality Liza Kosh, as well as to co-host and radio personality Charlamagne Tha God.
