The Florida Panthers returned after the NHL All-Star break with a victory just as the Miami Heat prepares for the NBA All-Star game this weekend in Cleveland.
Last night the Panthers maintained their first place slot in the Atlantic Division by beating the Carolina Panthers with a final score in overtime of 3-2. The Panther lead in the series match-up against the Hurricanes 3-0. And this is the second time the game has gone to overtime.
The Heat remains in first in the Eastern conference, despite a loss against the Mavericks on Tuesday evening. Tonight the team hits the road to play against the Charlotte Hornets.
Jimmy Butler will be the only Heat player representing Miami in Cleveland. Coach Erik Spoelstra will lead Team Durant this weekend.
