Inspicio Arts, our sister art publication platform, published a video conversation with designer, animator, and director Lauren Fisher, who has created projects for some of the biggest brands in sports and TV, and received an Emmy Award in 2021 for her animation in “Greatness Code.”
Fisher was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and earned a bachelor’s degree in photography at Ohio University. She earned an MFA at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where Fisher studied filmmaking, graphic design, and experimental animation. She has created work for major brands like the NBA, NFL, NCAA, Tom Brady, and Apple TV.
“I had the opportunity to be at the NCAA Final Four. They play those basketball games in football stadiums, not basketball arenas. The huge crowd is very hyped-up. I got to watch our projection mapping animation video open each game, and the fans went crazy. Watching the crowd react like that to something I created makes me feel like a little rockstar.” said Fisher.
Fisher is passionate about creating compelling visual stories for audiences to enjoy. From a very young age, art sparked her interest, and it became a medium for her to express insightful ideas to the world.
