Nothing screams fall in Miami like Knaus Berry Farms cinnamon rolls, baked goods and milkshakes. Knaus Berry Farm opened its doors on October 25th and its first week has been a sweet success.
This family-owned business and South Florida Tradition has been in Homestead since 1956. Herb Grafe married into the family business with his wife, Rachel Knaus. She is the co-owner alone with her sister, Susan, and her husband. “We had a really good turnout of people and we seem to turn out a lot of cinnamon rolls that’s for sure,” said Grafe about the turnout opening week.
Knaus Berry farm is also known for its U-Pick of Strawberries and Tomatoes, which will begin on December 4th. The best time to beat the heat and long lines is to come during the week around 10:30 a.m.. The line starts to get long a couple of hours before closing time and the team expects Saturdays to be busy all day long.
It is a cash-only business and is open Monday thru Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and closed Sunday. The season runs through mid-April.
