King Charles III succeeds Queen Elizabeth II after her passing (includes video story)

After 70 years on the throne, Queen Elizabeth II is dead.

The world continues to mourn her loss. She affected the lives of millions and is remembered around the world. 

“Join me in a round of applause for 70 years of service,” said Harry Styles during his concert at Madison Square Garden last night.

The United Kingdom will continue to mourn for the next eight days. 

Now, the late Queen’s son, King Charles III, is on the throne.
