K-Pop group Lapillus meets fans in Davie (includes video story)

Rising Korean pop girl group Lapillus surprised fans with a once-in-a-lifetime meet-and-greet at Kpop Kastle, their first in the United States.

“In late December, I made a tweet on Twitter that was like, ‘What artists would you like to see down here in Miami?’” says Michelle Kanaz, a K-pop lover. “Lapillus was one of the artists that was requested hundreds of times in that tweet.”

The group members shared their love and appreciation for their fans known as “Lapis,” who traveled varying distances to see them.

Those who attended had the opportunity to purchase signed albums, take photos with the group and engage in a Q&A session. Many hope the local Davie store will host more events like this in the future.
