Joya brings Jewish professionals back to social events despite the pandemic (includes video story)

As new variants such as Omicron and Delta have appeared, many people are scared to go to in-person events while others are more confident.

Joya is a South Florida organization trying to attract young Jewish professionals to return to in-person events. The name is short for the Jewish Organization of Young Adults.

Following government restrictions and guidelines has brought some challenges, but the event staff has been pleased to come back to in-person events and work because they enjoy seeing people.

Joya will be hosting four significant events this year.
