iHeart Fiesta Latina returns to Miami

Miami celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month at the ninth annual iHeart Fiesta Latina, hosted this year by iHeartLatino’s president and chief creative officer Enrique Santos.

Since 2014, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina has been gathering the best of Latin music’s biggest names for one huge party.

Fiesta Latina returns this Saturday, Oct. 15. It is bringing the hottest Latin artists iHeart Radio has to offer. This year’s featured artists are Farruko, Nicky Jam, Jhay Cortez, Becky G, Myke Towers, Manuel Turizo, DJ Adoni and iHeartRadio Corazón Award winner Enrique Iglesias.

The celebration not only embraces Hispanic heritage, but also annually recognizes one artist with the iHeart Corazon Latino Award.

Every year, one musician is recognized for their philanthropic efforts and attempts to help the community.

“Every year we honor a Latino that really stands out that’s gone above and beyond to help out other Latinos,” said Santos. “This year we’re honoring Enrique Iglesias with the award for the work that he’s done for children.”

This year will also be the first time they will showcase an artist who does not sing in Spanish but is well-known in the Spanish-speaking community and throughout the world. The roster at the FTX Arena just got better, as Fat Joe will be performing among the other Latin stars.

“Fat Joe is a Hip-Hop legend that represents Puerto Rico, he has a huge influence in music but specifically in Hispanic culture so that’ll be different,” shares Santos.

The impact Latin music has had on the United States these last couple of years are immeasurable and proves music has no language.

“We’re happy to be able to bring fans together once more and feel the special energy that comes from honoring our culture.”

Anyone can experience the pride this fiesta has to offer on Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. in the FTX Arena in Miami.
