Doral Art Walk (includes video story)

The community of Doral took a step into CityPlace’s first, ART WALK, enjoying timeless works of art, eccentric fashion, and unique handmade crafts.

Free and open to the public, the debut event took place Thursday in the Doral Contemporary Art Museum Pop-Up Spaces inside CityPlace. Each indoor space created its own exclusive atmosphere with the following themes:

Space 109 was TAKE ME. TAKE THIS, Celebrating Pride. Space 115 was Fernando Botero, The Evolution of a Master, The Enrique Michelsen Collection. Space 123 was Fashion Power. Space 150 was Urban Art.

Spotlighting the modern creations of Soco Freire, Istituto Marangoni students, and other talents — or the classic paintings of Fernando Botero — the event showcased artwork from the past and present.

ART WALK is a new feature to CityPlace Doral, which will be hosted from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the first Thursday of the month.

“As an art student, I’ve learned to appreciate art,” said Carlos Zambrano, “now that it’s a monthly thing in my community I get to share this experience with my family and friends.”

The event was presented by Keller Williams Doral Real Estate Company.
