The multi-purpose cleaner, Fabuloso is being recalled. Nearly 4.9 million bottles produced from Dec.14, 2022, through Jan. 23, 2023, are being taken off shelves.
The product may contain bacteria that can be harmful to people with weak immune systems or suffering from underlying lung conditions. But luckily people who are healthy typically are not affected by it.
“It’s so scary having Fabuloso in the household, I live with a family of five people,” Melany Rivas, who was shopping in Miami Wednesday said. “Having those products in the house is just not safe.”
Not all the lots are affected, only the ones with the code numbers that can be found here. The lot code can be found on the back of the bottles.
Many people are expressing their thoughts about the recall on social media.
“When I heard about it, all I could think about was my mom – we clean our house with it all the time, so she is probably going to freak out,” Customer Nicole Rodriguez said.
