2022 Miami International Auto Show kicks off at Miami Beach Convention Center (includes video story)

The Miami International Auto Show is open to the public for its fifty-first year at the Miami Beach Convention Center in a showcase of the automotive future.

The show features 18 manufacturers with brands such as Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota displaying their newest models and concepts to Miami residents. The event also mixes old and new, containing its classic car section titled “Memory Lane” and two indoor test tracks for all-electric vehicles.

While car dealerships struggle with stock in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, auto shows like the one in Miami gives visitors the chance to view the entire catalogue and to learn more about specific models.

“The reason why we love to come to auto shows is to connect with the consumer,” said Toyota representative Andi Ripley.

Some of the latest releases shown at the event includes the seventh generation Ford Mustang, the Ford F-150 Lightning, the Chevrolet Blazer EV and the Subaru Solterra, among others. Race cars such as the Hyundai Elantra TCR and the NASCAR Cup Series Toyota Camry XSE are also displayed.

The Miami International Auto Show will be on display until Oct. 23 with tickets available for purchase at www.miamiautoshows.com.
