From Halloween parties to costume and cocktails events to fundraisers, you and your best four-legged friend will likely have a busy schedule in upcoming weeks. Starting this week, you can treat your canine buddy to fun and games unlike any that a human has ever imagined. Check out all the activities offered in cities near you!

Scary or cute, choose the best costumes for your dogs and bring them to Mary Brickell Village for the Spooky Pooch Parade on Saturday, October 26. You can enjoy entertainment, games, food vendors, giveaways and more. If you are competitive, or just like some attention, you can strut with your dog and await the judge’s verdict.

The 14th edition of this fundraising event is coming back in a new location. The largest outdoor dog-friendly cocktail party will be hosted at Huizenga Plaza in Fort Lauderdale. You are welcome to bring your dog on a leash and enjoy a community event that will include music, canine-themed silent auction, pet -friendly vendors, a fashion show and even a peanut-butter contest. This is a free event but if you want the VIP treatment, you can buy a ticket for $40 that includes cocktails and lite bites in a private area with your pet. Organizers plan to promote integration within the community and raise awareness of pet rescues and shelters.

If you are a cinema lover you can bring your dog tonight at the movies. Canine Film Festival presents this event that will include a red carpet, a Yappy hour with treats, cocktails and Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Dress your dog as your favorite super hero or Disney character to participate in the annual costume contest to win a prize. Part of the proceeds will benefit Waggin’ Tails and Bark rescue.
