Netflix-binging driver caught on camera (includes video package)

That’s right. A movie. A Netflix-binging, Fort Myers driver was caught on camera. They were driving down Colonial Boulevard with their phone mounted on the steering wheel.

“That is very much so an accident waiting to happen,” shared Florida resident Jakeim Howard.

And so, focused on the feature film, they didn’t even realize they were being filmed.

“You’re driving a deadly weapon on the road every day,” says Florida resident Patricia Nocera. “There’s no excuse not to pay attention to what you’re doing. You can kill somebody with this car.”

“I hope that they see this video and they see that they are not supposed to do things like that.”

Florida law says using a phone is illegal when driving. If you’re caught, you could face a non-criminal traffic citation. There is no word yet if the driver has been held accountable for this risky action.
