Maxi Donas lives up to its name when creating these doughnuts. This brightly colored, fun, and friendly shop offers extra-large crème brûlée doughnuts, a customer favorite. This giant, golden dough is filled with decadent rich vanilla custard and topped with caramelized sugar ($3 to $4). It’s in the name! Everything about this shop is light and sweet. Honeybee doughnuts is a small shop located in South Miami owned by Karen Muirhead, who will be opening a new location at The Falls very soon. The new shop will be located at 8888 SW 136th St.  They offer a variety of flavors, and if you get lucky, you’ll be able to try the coconut-milk glazed doughnut ($2.75).
