StoryWalk in the Pines

As part of an effort to promote children’s literacy in Broward County, local libraries are presenting a free family-friendly outdoor event on Feb. 16 from 10 a.m to 12 p.m., hosted by the city of Pembroke Pines. Bringing to life the story book, “Maybe Something Beautiful” by F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell, participants will explore the pages of this tale in a self-guided tour. Visitors will also have the chance to sign up for their own library card.  All ages are welcome. Free food, games and additional activities will be provided.
