Covid treatment Paxlovid has been flying off shelves as citizens battle COVID-19 (includes video story)

A drug called Paxlovid is supposed to reduce the symptoms of Covid-19, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns there could be a relapse.

Now it has issued after-care tips to the public.

In clinical trials, Paxlovid reduced the odds of COVID-19 hospitalization by almost 90 percent.

For this reason, the CDC said that “early treatment with this medication is still recommended for those at high risk of severe Covid.”
